This was my introduction to Dong Ha, and I must say, he is outstanding as Hyun Soo. Directed by Carles Torras. The middle of this show is just filler and could have been cut out easily for a tight 12 episode drama. Throughout their recovering friendship, Eun Hyuk’s past indiscretion with Yoo Jung was the elephant in the room that couldn’t be magicked away. I think that it wasn’t about anything actually happening; I think the very fact that it even ever got close to that, was enough of a betrayal to break down the various relationships. After the prosecution, Eun Bong Hee who is free from the crime falls in love with Noh Ji Wook. Second is the padding. The mystery-murder case was solved too early or rather the drama … I’m pleasantly surprised by how satisfied I feel with this ending.
